What is School of War
School of War is a blog dedicated to the study of war and warfare, and of the many overlooked aspects that often make a difference in winning and losing. Areas that are often a subject at School of War are COIN, cultural awareness, operations, learning (especially through wargames).
Who is School of War for
School of War is for all those who want to look at the conduct of war from a different angle and who are concerned with excellence in the conduct of operations and tactics.
School of War is run by Ilhan. Ilhan is a German infantry officer. He earned a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Technical University of Munich as well as doing graduate work at the Georgia Institute of Technology before deciding that a life in the military would be better suited for him.
